Are you currently going through a very rigorous workout or Yoga schedule and almost feeling like giving up? Then you should take a pause for a while and go through his article. It’s to remind you the harder the work, the bigger the result. It’s not what we say, multi-time WWE world champion John Cena himself once reaped the benefits of his backbreaking work while training alongside the renowned action hero Jackie Chan for the unreleased movie Snafu.

Cena had to fly to China, for the filming of that movie. But the experience was not very pleasant for the Fast X actor, at least in his early days in the land of the red dragon. Chan, being a martial artist himself, made Cena push his limits, even to the point of him breaking down. But guess what? The effort came to fruition in a beautiful way soon after.

John Cena is currently one of the hottest and fittest celebrities on a global scale. The demonstration of his commendable fitness through various movies clearly shows the work he put on for years to keep himself fit and fine even in his late 40s.

John Cena once revealed how his crushing hard work paid him off handsomely

However, things weren’t the same when Cena was out shooting the movie Snafu. He was not as sturdy back then as he is now. But his strict martial arts trainer wasn’t considerate of the fact, stretching him like taffy for months. It was such a nerve-wracking experience that it left the 46-year-old in a poor mental health condition.

During his interview with GQ magazine, Cena recollected those horrifying moments. ‘They just wanted me to kick over my head, which was impossible. I went over there to train with him for about three months and they stretched me like taffy. I immediately lost 20 pounds, which was very difficult for me. … even fell into a weird depression because it was like I’m losing everything that I worked on for 30 years!”, the $80 million star explained.

However, things started to change gradually. Cena started to feel better and stronger day by day and it proved to be a major life-changing turn in his life. Currently, the former world champion can stand tall as a live example of the phrase that says we should start with fear, start with doubt, but at least start. That’s what matters.

Describing his lesson in the journey, Cena continued, ”I begin to walk taller, begin to have less pain, I was more flexible, and that experience changed my life in many ways, and it taught me the value of making sure your body moves okay. It’s helped me balance a lot of what life throws at you.”

Despite Spending More Time in Hollywood, John Cena Points Out a Major Drawback of Movies When Compared to Pro Wrestling: “I’m a Pawn on the Chessboard”

However, for all those who wondered why Snafu is still not in the movies after 4 years of filming, here is some good news. It will be sooner than you imagine, just under a different name, Hidden Strike.

The official trailer for the forgotten actioner involving Jackie Chan and John Cena is out

The movie that gave a bittersweet memory to Cena, wrapped up production in 2018. But Covid came as a villain and brought the entire releasing process to a halt. Fans have been almost hopeless about the release of the movie anytime soon until XYZ Films finally unveiled the trailer this Wednesday.

Hidden Strike, previously known as Snafu, written by Arash Amel, and directed by Scott Waugh, promises a full fun and action package through its two-minute trailer. Chan and Cena have been seen playing two ex-special force soldiers ensuring the safety of civilians through a bizarre road, ‘Highway of Death’. The rest you can only know by watching the movie.

While the release date of the long-awaited action piece is still up in the air, we can rest assured that the amazing Chan-Cena pair has something big for us in store.
