A widow who died while on a 'healing trip' to Hawaii following the sudden death of her husband fell 75ft from a cliff while climbing.
Jamie 'Nicole' Redmon Baker of Louisville, Kentucky, was climbing in an area known as Chutes and Ladders, when she fell to the bottom of a cliff off the Western Coast of Maui around 11.30am on Thursday, according to Maui County Public Fire and Safety.
Rescuers were unable to resuscitate Baker after she was found unresponsive.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Baker, a physical therapist who had attended the University of Kentucky, left behind her three-year-old daughter, Carson, according to her cousin's post on Facebook.
Her death is the second tragedy to hit the family since 2017.
Baker was predeceased by her husband Lonnie, who passed away unexpectedly in June 2017, according to his obituary. Lonnie was also a physical therapist. He died at the age of 35.
Her grieving mother declined to speak to a reporter when contacted by DailyMail.com.

Friends on Facebook said Baker and her daughter had made the trip previously, seeking to recover from their heartache.
'This was a healing vacation for her and her small child. RIP Nicole,' her friend Jessica Lynn wrote on Facebook.
Chutes and Ladders offers an 'off-the-grid adventure on the Western coast of Maui recommended for expert free-climbers,' according to the website The Outbound Collective.
The area is described a 'fun but dangerous adventure'.
