Who is Billy McKeague?
Billy, son of Chase McKeague and Lynn McKeague, currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri. He spent his high school days at Chaminade College Preparatory School in St. Louis and was an ice hockey player there. For further studies, Billy went to the University of Missouri. He also developed an interest in golf during his time in college.
McKeague’s interest in golf also saw him work as a Golf Pro in a resort in Hawaii later.

During his time as a golf pro in Hawaii, Billy McKeague met the two-time Australian Open champion. Their relationship grew, and they subsequently started dating. McKeague and Azarenka started living in Manhattan, California after the WTA star purchased a house there.

“You don’t know how someone is going to react at a young age being a dad, but he loves Leo so much and is very affectionate,” Azarenka once said. “He understands what I want to do right now, and he’s also willing to sacrifice his time away from his family as well for the next five, six years for me to be done with this chapter of my life of playing.”

The duo split up in 2017 when Leo was just a few months old. In August 2017, Azarenka and McKeague were in a custody battle over their son. The Belarussian’s non-American citizenship worked in McKeague’s favor and she could not take her son out of California.
The two-time Grand Slam Champion did not participate in the subsequent US Open, as she did not want to leave her son in California. Following that, she missed out on many tournaments on the WTA tour.
In 2018, the tennis player said that she wouldn’t wish for anybody to go through what she had been going through. The former World No.1 suggested that she might write a book on it someday, which will be Oscar-worthy. At the end of the lengthy battle, Azarenka got custody of Leo.
