Taylor Swift was in a celebratory mood as she drank a glass of wine to mark the final concert on the first US leg of her Eras Tour at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium on Wednesday.

The songstress, 33 - whose former BFF Karlie Kloss was in attendance at the final show after the pair were rumored to be in a lesbian romance - looked delighted as she sipped on white wine and toasted her fans at the 70,000 capacity stadium.

The star, whose tour will move to South America with dates beginning in Mexico City on August 24, wowed in a purple sequin dress teamed with flat leather boots as she marked 53 dates on the record-breaking tour.

Taylor was seen sashaying off the stage and slowly raising her glass at screaming fans after the curtain came down and she headed off for a much-deserved break.

At the concert Taylor announced her next re-release album will be her hit 2014 record 1989.

The superstar revealed that the re-record will arrive in October and feature five new tracks.

Unveiling the album cover on her Instagram page after the show, Taylor gushed that it is 'my most FAVORITE re-record I've ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can't believe they were ever left behind.'

The 2014 album, which originally featured 13 songs on the standard version and 16 songs on the deluxe edition, includes her hit singles Shake It Off and Blank Space among others.

Taylor's news was met with huge excitement inside the SoFi stadium in California as she teased:

'So here we are on the last night of the US leg of the Eras tour on the eighth month of the year, on the ninth day,' before telling the crowd she had been 'planning this for a long time.'

Writing on Instagram, Taylor gushed: 'Surprise!! 1989 Taylor's Version is on its way to you. The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th.

The Taylor's Version of 1989 has been rumoured by fans for weeks, with the star dropping Easter Eggs for Swifties during her current world tour.

Ahead of her LA run of gigs, SoFi stadium posted four telling photos with clues pointing to the 1989 album.

Taylor has been remaking her earlier albums after a dispute with her old label Big Machine Records.

She has so far released Fearless (Taylor's Version) Red (Taylor's Version) before Speak Now last month.

Back in 2019 Taylor took to her Tumblr to reveal 'bully' Scooter Braun - who is the manager of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and many more - acquired the label she was previously at - Big Machine Records.

His company Ithaca Holdings LLC bought Big Machine Label Group for a reported $300 million.

The deal included the master recordings of all six of her albums - all of her previous music and her legacy.

On her Tumblr post, Taylor slammed Scooter as well as Big Machine Label Group CEO Scott Borchetta and revealed she was not offered the opportunity to buy her own masters and that the former bullied her for years.

Kloss' presence at the show came as a shock to Swift fans - Swift did not attend either of Kloss' weddings to Joshua Kushner and the model's close bond with Scooter Braun may have been the final nail in the coffin.

But Kloss — who previously vowed she would 'always have' Swift's back but is managed by Braun — was seated in the audience while the Grammy Award-winner took the stage at SoFi Stadium.
