Susan Sarandon has candidly discussed her sexual orientation in a recent interview.

Speaking to PrideSource, the 70-year-old iconic actress said she is "open" about her sexuality. "My sexual orientation is up for grabs, I guess you could say," she explained.

Susan is now single following her split with long-term partner Tim Robbins in 2009. She was previously married to Chris Sarandon beforehand.

Speaking of her current love life, she commented: "I'm a serial monogamist... so I haven't really had a large dating career. I haven't exactly been in the midst of a lot of offers of any kind. I'm still not! I don't know what's going on! But I think back in the '60s it just was much more open."

She also briefly touched upon her relationship with actor Philip Sayer, who "wasn't with another woman" after her: "He was gay, and we had a great relationship in every way," she said.
