MAC new perfumes & lipsticks 2016

August 2024 · 2 minute read

Here on the GLAMOUR beauty desk, we were excited to hear that MAC were spoiling us even more with their latest launch.

Not only is MAC one of the biggest cosmetic companies in the world with endless shades of lipsticks, shadows, and foundations to suit every skin type and tone, they have now announced they are expanding the brand further than make-up.

They are launching six new permanent fragrances ‘Shadescents' inspired by the best-selling lipsticks: Ruby Woo, Candy Yum-Yum, Velvet Teddy, Lady Danger, Crème De Nude and My Heroine, which was a lipstick in Lourde’s collection in 2014. From hints of woody floral, amber musk to wild honey, there is a scent for every taste.

Little did you know this isn’t the first time the iconic brand have had fragrances; Turquatic is an ocean inspired scent that launched in 2005 and Air of Style with pretty floral notes, launched in 2007, both of which are still available online and in select stores.

MAC have partnered with six ambassadors who embody each Shadescents personality, and new mum Blac Chyna was one of the first to be announced.

The fragrances, which retail at £35, are available exclusively to Harrods from November 25, and will be available in stores and online at maccosmetics.co.uk from December 1.
