Lauren Conrad returned to New York Fashion Week yesterday to debut a limited edition capsule collection of her Kohl's line, and it was a treat for the eyes.
Everything was very… Lauren Conrad.
The former Hills star created an Instagrammable show - complete with invites attached to bouquets of flowers, pretty white benches and wooden chairs with white seat covers.
Backstage, Lauren had her own hairstylist Kristin Ess and her own makeup artist Amy Nadine create the looks for the show. Lauren told E! that she wanted the beauty to be "very romantic . . . [a] soft feel. Not too polished, not too pristine."
Lauren had a stellar front row; Olivia Culpo, Dylan Penn, Ashley Tisdale and Chrissy Teigen.
Her forever best friend, Lauren Bosworth, was also there to lend her support.
Congrats on a pretty runway show, LC.
On 18 August 2015, we wrote...Watch out Victoria Beckham - Lauren Conrad could be about to steal your crowd-pleasing fashion week crown.
She made her name on The Hills, and was known for being "The Girl Who Didn't Go to Paris", and she has the perfect life (from what we can tell from her Instagram account!), and now it's just going to get better and better - she's off to New York next month to debut a limited edition capsule collection of her Kohl's line during New York Fashion Week.
Taking to Instagram, she captioned the picture above: "I am so excited to announce that I'll be debuting a new @LCLaurenConrad collection at #NYFW on September 9! We have been hard at work for months and I am so excited to finally be able to tell everyone! #LCRunway".
The vintage-inspired range, priced sensibly between $12 (£7) and $200 (£127), will be available for purchase immediately after the show. The newly created LCRunway.com will stream the show live when the show happens at 7pm on 9 September.
"It's straight off the streets of New York... into this wonderland," says Conrad on the site about the collection, which Kohl's promises will feature a "clean, polished and pretty" aesthetic and "dip-dyed hues of forest green and sage, inspired by the mystery and enchantment of the forest."
This isn't LC's first rodeo - let's not forget that she showed a collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Los Angeles in 2008. It didn't exactly receive rave reviews, and nor a stellar front row, but she's come a long way in the last seven years.
Will her new husband William Tell do a David Beckham and sit front row? We sure hope so.
