When "The Fate of the Furious" hits theaters Friday, all eyes will be on Dom's crew and their fast cars. "Fate" introduces plenty of shiny new vehicles for Dom, Letty, Roman, and the rest of the Fast family to destroy. 

While you'll see several flashy cars race through New York City, from a classic Corvette and Lamborghini, many of the cars were modified to accommodate the winter conditions and stunts when the crew filmed in Iceland. 

Universal released a list of several of the cars you'll see in the movie in its production notes, while the duo from auto series Mighty Car Mods went to "Fast and Furious" car coordinator Dennis McCarthy's garage in Southern California to check out a bunch of the cars individually.

"The Fate of the Furious" kicks things off with a race in Cuba where Dom's opponent drives a 1956 Ford Fairlane.

Dom's told the car is the fastest on the island, but it's no match for him even as he's driving a rundown bucket of bolts. 

Letty races through New York City in a 1966 Corvette.

A lot of the cars needed to be restructured for the film because they received it rusted.

She switches cars in the movie for the Rally Fighter.

Letty drives along with Ramsay from "Furious 7."

Tej and Ramsay take to NYC in a Mercedes AMG GT.

It was Deckard Shaw who previously drove a Mercedes to crash into Han's vehicle in "Tokyo Drift."

Roman cruises through New York City in a white and burgundy striped Bentley GT BR9 Coupe.

The Bentley also gets destroyed in the film.

Later, he races through Russia in an orange Lamborghini.

As we soon learn, it's not well-equipped for the ice. 

A new addition to the cast, Scott Eastwood's Little Nobody hits the streets of NYC in a Subaru BRZ.

McCarthy told MCM they used four of the cars in the film and three out of four of them survived filming. He said usually 25% cars survive. 

Hobbs takes to the ice in a modified Dodge "Ice Ram" truck.

This is the vehicle from which he redirects a torpedo with his bare hands.

Tej (Ludacris) rolls across the ice in a tank called the Ricksaw.

The tank is a nod to "Fast & Furious 6" where Tej gets jealous when the film's villain appears on a highway in one of his own. The vehicle was provided by the US Department of Defense. 

This $2 million Nissan concept car was flown in from Japan to be in the movie.

According to Motortrend, the car is the 2013 IDx concept. 

Dom's iconic '70s Charger gets revamped to take on the snow.

On set, the modified vehicle was referred to as Dom's Dodge Ice Charger and had 18-inch wide tires.
