Jake Paul, the popular YouTube sensation turned boxer, has been making waves in the combat sports arena. His recent victory over professional boxer Andre August only adds to his growing reputation. However, what’s more intriguing is his reputation for facing MMA fighters in the ring. His victories against big names like Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz have undoubtedly cemented his position in the combat sports world.

However, his eyes have been set on Conor McGregor for a long time now, but he has not been able to make the fight. Interestingly, just recently McGregor announced his return and Paul is not happy about it.

Jake Paul calls out Conor McGregor anfd Dana White

Conor McGregor has confirmed his much-anticipated return to the UFC ring, scheduled for June 29. Addressing fans on social media, McGregor shared his excitement: “A new year brings new challenges. I’m thrilled to announce that on June 29, I’ll be back in action during International Fight Week in Las Vegas, facing Michael Chandler at 185 pounds.”

This comeback marks McGregor’s return since his injury in July 2021 against Dustin Poirier. Following his recovery, McGregor participated in the reality TV show, The Ultimate Fighter, coaching against Chandler. There had been speculations about the fight’s certainty, but UFC president Dana White reaffirmed that Chandler would indeed be McGregor’s opponent.

However, Paul was not happy with the announcement. In a video that surfaced on social media, he said, “What the f*** is up Irish c***”. Paul had Ireland’s flag on his back as he sat and smoked a cigar. After taking a jab at McGregor, Paul even fired shots at White, stating, “Dana White, You are a f***in’ p**** too, you ugly f***in’ bald b**ch”. He appeared to be fuming at White claiming that there is a zero chance of him getting a fight against McGregor. It is to be noted that Paul has been in talks with another fighter for a potential bout too.

Paul’s next potential opponent

Jake Paul’s boxing journey continues to capture global attention. Recently, a surprising contender, Neeraj Goyat from India, challenged him to a match. While Jake’s next bout is set for March 2 in Puerto Rico, his opponent remains a mystery.

Goyat, boasting an 18-4-2 record, took to social media, emphasizing his boxing prowess in India and insinuating that Paul’s previous opponents were subpar. He taunted, “I challenge @jakepaul for a fight. I request everyone to mention @jakepaul @mostvaluablepromotions @betr in your comments, and let’s make it happen,” urging fans to rally behind the idea.

In response, Paul teased,“Brother you too small. Walking around at 150 lbs? Maybe I tie one arm behind my back?“. His promotion team, Most Valuable Promotions, also hinted at discussions with Goyat. Expressing interest, they commented, “We have reached out to start discussions. Please check DM“.

Yet, an official confirmation from Jake’s camp is pending. As the buzz around Jake’s next fight intensifies, the question remains: will Neeraj Goyat be the one to test ‘The Problem Child’?
