Australian actress Ruby Rose has been unwittingly dragged into Nicki Minaj's ongoing beef with fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
Ruby, 37, has been targeted by Minaj's fans, known as the 'Barbz', after they confused her for American rapper and OnlyFans sensation Rubi Rose.
Rubi, 26, found herself in hot water with the Barbz this week after she allegedly slammed Minaj on her private Instagram - before one of her friends leaked the screenshot online.
In the leaked post, Rubi called Minaj 'evil as f**k', accused her of using Ozempic to lose weight, said her body was 'botched' from surgery and made a series of other highly defamatory claims against the Starships hitmaker.
While Rubi herself has yet to confirm the legitimacy of the screenshot, it hasn't stopped the Barbz from trolling the star.

However, some Barbz have mistaken Rubi for John Wick 2 star Ruby, causing the Australian actress to take to social media to defend herself.
In a post shared to Instagram on Monday, Ruby wrote, 'I have a "Y" in my name, not an "I". I never thought I'd see the day when I was being flooded with death threats for involvement in a rap beef.'
She continued, 'I do not post about rappers on my Close Friends story. I assure you my Close Friends list is never used for anything but more dog photos. I don't know much about the inner workings of the rap world, period.'
'You have the wrong person,' she added. 'I toured with Nicki for her whole Australian tour and I have never met Megan but she also seems great.'

Ruby then posted a screenshot from one of the nasty messages she'd received from Minaj's bloodthirsty Barbz.
Nicki and Megan previously collaborated on the hip-hop hit Hot Girl Summer back in 2019, but the pair have since fallen out.
Tensions then came to a head over the weekend when Megan dropped a new diss record called Hiss, which took aim at multiple people in the music industry.
That track features the lyric, 'These hoes don't be mad at Megan / these hoes mad at Megan's Law,' referring to the US law requiring law enforcement to share information about registered sex offenders with the public.
Ruby has been confused for rapper Rubi Rose, who also allegedly dissed Nicki alongside Megan, so the Australian star set the record straight on Instagram this week

The lyric may have also been aimed at Minaj's brother, Jelani Maraj, who was convicted in 2017 of predatory sexual assault for the rape of his 11-year-old stepdaughter.
A judge sentenced Maraj to 25 years to life in prison in January 2020, after a 2018 appeal failed.

Minaj has since fired back in an Instagram video where she tells Megan to, 'conjure up her mother and apologize' while also bashing her for the Tory Lane shooting.
'You let just everyone be thrown under the bus. You let DaBaby be thrown under the bus, Tory, your best friend, your mom. You better go conjure up your mother and say... and apologize,' Minaj said on the IG live session.
Megan's mother, Holly Thomas, passed away in March 2019 from a cancerous brain tumor, and she mentioned her death on the song Flip Flop from her 2022 album Traumazine.
Megan hasn't commented publicly on Nicki's comments quite yet, although when asked about the beef on The Breakfast Club, she responded, 'A hit dog will holler.'
